Requirements

What we're looking for

a completed HBO or WO degree, for example in the direction of Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or Commercial Economics;
interest in analyzing, improving, and optimizing business processes;
experience from an internship or job within logistics, operations, consultancy, or sales is a plus;
good command of the Dutch (B1) and English languages;
a B driving license and flexibility to visit customers in the Netherlands and Belgium;
you combine an analytical eye with strong communication skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.

you will receive a salary between €3,000.00 and €3,500.00 gross per month (based on 40 hours), matching your experience, knowledge, and development;

You will make it happen
Do you want to not only advise, but also see how your ideas are actually implemented? Then you are in the right place at DSV. In this role, you will work on complex logistical challenges for international customers within our Air & Sea division. You will combine analysis, stakeholder management, and process improvement and learn how to realize sustainable changes within large organizations; you will contribute to it.

How will you do this? With your analytical eye and fresh ideas, you help customers move forward. You translate insights into concrete improvements and ensure that solutions are not just conceived, but also actually deliver results. As a junior supply chain consultant, you are the connecting link between operations, IT, product teams, and customers. By making processes transparent, identifying opportunities for improvement, and successfully implementing solutions, you contribute directly to the performance of our international relationships. You will achieve this by:

supporting customers in improving their logistical processes and supply chain performance;
advising on smart solutions in the field of Order and Freight Management;
analyzing KPIs and identifying improvement initiatives that make a direct impact;
collaborating with customers, operations, IT, and product teams to successfully implement changes;
presenting insights during business reviews and contributing to strategic decision-making;
playing an active role in digitalization and innovation within international supply chains.
