You are part of the Merchandise Planning team and work closely with our purchasing and production team. As a Merchandise Planner at LOAVIES, you are responsible for your own product groups (for example, sales and production planning and the numerical composition of the collection). Based on the analysis of sales and market data, you determine the collection size in terms of options, units, depth, and purchase value per product group, you determine the pricing, and you are responsible for the margins. You are also responsible for the stock and the intake. In this role, you must be comfortable with numbers and possess good analytical skills, which you combine with a commercial mindset.

• Developing the strategy for your product groups;

• Maintaining and providing input for discount policy/promotional activities within your groups.

• You make proposals to the purchasing team regarding bestsellers and slow movers (reordering/discount/reshoot);

• You provide periodic reports on insights into sell-through, turnover, margin, returns, stock, and intake;

• Monitoring stock/sales ratios based on daily sales figures;

• Drawing up and monitoring the purchasing budget for your product groups and maintaining contact with the buyers for optimal execution of the budget (pre- and in-season / OTB);

• Forecasting sales, turnover, margin, stock, and intake;
