Technical Consultant – Network Security

• HBO working and thinking level or equivalent
• Demonstrable experience with networking and security technologies
• Experience with designing and building solutions based on F5 and Cisco SWA
• Knowledge of Python and Ansible
• A strong networking foundation, for example at CCNP level
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written
• Willingness to obtain and maintain relevant product certifications

Within the Network Security team, you will work on challenging security and networking services for customers in various sectors, such as critical infrastructure, financial services, logistics, and mainport organizations. You will help keep their environments secure, stable, and future-proof.

In this role, you combine technology, customer contact, and responsibility. You advise customers on technical content, think along about improvements, and contribute to realizing their business goals. You work together with an ambitious team of specialists in complex customer environments.

As a technical consultant, you are responsible for:

• the project-based, technical implementation of security solutions for our customers
• the transfer of solution management to the operations team
• creating solution documentation including: low-level design, network diagrams, compliancy, test and acceptance scenarios, change and incident procedures
• advising customers on technology and services
• identifying and implementing optimizations
• contributing to stable and high-quality service delivery
• supporting our operations team during incidents
• collaborating with our vendors to utilize technology optimally

We believe it is important to meet each other regularly. Therefore, we typically work together in the office in Amersfoort 1 to 2 days per week. On the remaining days, you work flexibly from home or in combination at a customer's location.

You possess a proactive and customer-oriented working attitude and know how to identify and exploit commercial opportunities and optimization possibilities. You are curious about new technologies and have a strong motivation to continuously develop yourself, both technically and personally. Additionally, you work result-oriented with a clear focus on quality and sustainable collaboration.
