Communication Internship

• You are following a HBO or WO degree in the direction of Communication, Marketing, or similar
• You are proactive, accurate, and enjoy working together
• You have a good command of the Dutch language and can work with Microsoft Office
• You enjoy writing and can adapt your message well to different target groups
• You are available from February 2027

• It is a plus if you can edit videos

• An internship allowance of EUR 600,- (based on 40 hours).
• A hybrid workplace: 2 days in the office, 3 days at home.
• A laptop, which you can also use for your school assignments.

You will do an internship with the internal communications team of KPN Fixed Access Networks. You will work together with two communication advisors. They will guide you and teach you everything about the profession. You are also part of a larger communications team from KPN Technology and Digital Office. This team works on technology and digital innovation at KPN. You will work together with colleagues from different parts of KPN. This way, you will discover how communication works in different areas of a large company. Together, you will ensure that colleagues are well-informed and feel involved in everything happening within FAN.

As an internal communications intern at KPN FAN, you ensure that colleagues are well-informed. You help to engage employees in everything that changes and happens within FAN.

This is what you will do:

• You investigate what information employees need.
• You write and improve articles and messages.
• You interview colleagues or make a vlog about projects, for example, about the installation of fiber optics.
• You help with organizing meetings and events. 
• You help with managing the department's intranet page. You also investigate areas for improvement.
• You will be given the space to share your own ideas and think along about how we can improve our communication.

For this internship, we are looking for an enthusiastic and curious student with an interest in communication and technology.
