Marketing Internship - TV & Entertainment

For this TV & Entertainment internship at KPN, you will use your strong communication skills to share our TV product and relevant content with our customers and to coordinate with partners. In addition to a positive mindset, an open mind, and a driven attitude, we are looking for a team player who has a strong command of the Dutch language in speech and writing, has an affinity for marketing, sports, communication, and partnerships, is available a few days a week, and who has practically invented binge-watching. 

Additionally: 

• You are in the final stage of your HBO/WO Bachelor's or Master's in Communication(s), Marketing(management), Business Administration, or similar. 
• You are creative with language, know how to write a catchy text, and are always attentive to spelling, periods, and commas. Proficiency with Adobe is a plus. 
• You have a developed sense of customer relevance and know how to support your arguments with data. 
• You are familiar with working in a content management system (CMS) and are familiar with Search Engine Optimization (SEO). 
• You are available to start as of February 2027 

• An internship allowance of EUR 600,- (based on 40 hours).
• A hybrid workplace: 2 days in the office, 3 days at home.
• A laptop, which you can also use for your school assignments. 
• Do you not have a student travel pass? Then your travel expenses for the train or car will be reimbursed.

The TV & Entertainment marketing team is responsible for communicating with KPN's customer base and maintaining and improving it and attracting new customers. You will join a team responsible for the commercial management and promotion of entertainment services such as Netflix, Videoland, Viaplay and ESPN and TV features such as the KPN TV+ Soundbox. The marketing team within KPN consists of enthusiastic and driven marketing managers. 

With your communication skills, you will ensure that our TV customers get the most out of their product and know which series, films, and important sporting moments they cannot miss. We are looking for someone who has an affinity for sports and knows what is happening in the sports world, so that you can get our customers excited about the best matches, live statistics, and goal alerts. As a TV & Entertainment Intern, you will support the marketing manager and collect input from external content providers, sports partners, the product team, and the partnership team to inspire our customers via social media, (entertainment) newsletters, and other channels.  

Your activities include: 

• Sending the monthly TV & Entertainment newsletter and managing the online content pages and blogs.  
• Drafting and maintaining commercial and service-oriented campaigns, primarily focused on sports. You will coordinate with partners ESPN, Viaplay and Ziggo Sport to arrange the best offering for our customers and ensure that our customers always know at the right moment when their favorite club is playing.  
• You will ensure that people can no longer do without our Live Statistics, highlights, and Goal Alerts in the TV+ App.  
• Drafting and maintaining commercial and service-oriented campaigns. You will coordinate with partners such as Netflix, Videoland and ESPN to arrange the best offering for our customers.
