Ideally, you have:

• A completed HBO or WO degree, ideally in the direction of law, social sciences, or higher hotel management;
• affinity with the student target group and student life;
• excellent command of the Dutch and English languages;
• strong organizational skills and the ability to take initiative;
• a proactive, enthusiastic, and driven attitude.

Do you want to play an important role in attracting and connecting legal talent to an international law firm? Freshfields Amsterdam is looking for a Recruiter to guide law students from their first introduction through to their start at the firm.

FRESHFIELDS AMSTERDAM: INTERNATIONAL AND PERSONAL

As a Recruiter, you are responsible for increasing the brand awareness and reputation of Freshfields Amsterdam among law students in the Netherlands and ensuring an optimal and qualitative influx of candidates. You play a central role in providing a careful and personal candidate experience throughout the entire application process. This begins with the first contact during an event and continues through to the guidance during the start as a young professional within our firm.

Your duties include:

• Organizing and participating in internal and external events (such as recruitment dinners, office visits, business courses, and business days) and recruiting potential interns and starters through these events;
• building and maintaining relationships with faculties and student associations, including concluding and managing sponsorship contracts;
• conducting interviews and assessing candidates together with lawyers;
• guiding and evaluating student interns during their internship in collaboration with their mentor;
• developing new promotional material and providing content for social media (Instagram & LinkedIn);
• providing input for the annual recruitment plan and creating support for this among internal stakeholders.

You are enthusiastic and socially strong. You are energetic, build relationships effortlessly with diverse stakeholders, and feel at ease in a dynamic environment in which you know how to monitor multiple tasks simultaneously. You work proactively and in a structured manner and maintain a calm, professional attitude even under pressure.
