The role

Vacancy type: Regular
Location: Schiphol Oost
Hours per week: 40
Education level: Mbo; Hbo
Apply until: 19-11-2026

As Planner Fleet Availability, you play a central role in the realization of the E&M maintenance plan. You manage and monitor the maintenance work backlog and ensure that necessary maintenance is carried out in a timely manner and within the specified maintenance limits on LMS and in the hangars at Schiphol-Oost.

Airworthiness and the timely execution of the E&M maintenance plan are paramount. You continuously make the trade-off between necessary maintenance, available maintenance space, capacity, and operations. When necessary, this may mean that the schedule is adjusted.

What you'll do

You are responsible for the planning, monitoring, and adjusting of the integral E&M maintenance plan. You monitor the work backlog and due dates and ensure that maintenance is scheduled according to the Fleet Health principles.

You translate the maintenance requirement into a realistic and achievable plan, taking into account ground time, maintenance slots, capacity, and technical and operational constraints. When changes occur, you actively adjust, set priorities, and, together with the parties involved, make the trade-off between punctuality and necessary maintenance.

You have a clear management role: you identify risks, visualize consequences and solutions, and provide substantiated advice to operations. Clear communication and documentation are crucial in this.

With the implementation of Navigator , we are further developing our way of planning. This optimizer supports looking further ahead, optimizing the maintenance plan, and increasing plan stability. This requires a readiness for change and an active contribution to the adoption.

You work in shift work and rotate through day, evening, and night shifts.

Your profile

You are a planner who dares to take charge, thinks integrally, and maintains an overview even under pressure. You can weigh technical and operational interests against each other and set clear priorities, with the Fleet Health principles and realization of the E&M maintenance plan being leading.

Furthermore:

  • you have experience with operational planning or logistics, preferably in a technical environment;
  • you have experience with planning systems, preferably Maintenix;
  • you anticipate changes and unexpected situations quickly;
  • you communicate clearly and persuasively with various stakeholders;
  • you are open to new systems, ways of working, and change;
  • you have excellent command of the Dutch and English languages.

Competencies

  • Analytical ability
  • Planning and organizing
  • Stress resistance
  • Persuasiveness
