We are looking for an enthusiastic, eager-to-learn student who has an affinity for the field of communication. Someone who moves easily within a large organization and knows how to take action. Are you a natural networker and interested in the motivations of employees? Do you dare to draft requested and unsolicited advice in the field of internal communication? Do you possess empathy and use it to effectively realize the stated organizational goals? Then we are looking for you!

As a communication intern, you will be involved in optimizing various communication platforms and the internal communication flow within the unit. In doing so, you will seek connection between the different departments within Airframe. You will be part of a close-knit team, with several other interns, for whom you are responsible for the overall internal communication. You will work on collecting information and creating news articles for the (bi)weekly newsletter. You will create informative presentations and help organize information sessions for employees. Additionally, you will be part of the 'raging reporter team', where you, as a reporter, create informative facts as well as 'relaxing/connecting video content' for the viewers. Finally, you will also help with organizing various internal events. You are a true jack-of-all-trades!

You will land at KLM E&M - business unit Airframe, Schiphol-Oost. Airframe is one of the four business units of Engineering & Maintenance. Your workplace is located right in the middle of one of the hangars or at Schiphol Centrum, with a view of the KLM fleet. Together with Air France Industries, KLM is a leading player in the global aircraft maintenance industry. In addition to its own fleet and that of Air France, Engineering & Maintenance maintains the aircraft, engines, and components of a total of approximately 200 customers worldwide.

• HBO Bachelor student / Communication and/or Creative Business;
• MBO level 4 student / International Business Management, Marketing, Communication;
• You are meticulous, creative, self-directed, and have an affinity for innovative communication tools and the latest communication trends;
• You have an affinity for shaping creative communication expressions;
• You are a team player who loves to take action and is not intimidated by short deadlines;
• You want to learn more about the challenges in the field of communication within an operational environment;
• You are interested in others and move with ease within the various layers of a large company;
• You can interact well with colleagues of very diverse ages and nationalities and know how to engage and connect them.
