The role

Are you the payroll expert who ensures timely and correct salary processing, so that everyone receives their well-deserved salary? Do you also have a broad perspective and look beyond just payroll, actively contributing to the process integration between HR and Payroll? Then we are looking for you!

What you'll do

As a Payroll Specialist, you are responsible for the periodic processing of salaries for nearly 2,300 employees. In addition to permanent employees, you also ensure the processing of salaries for our employees with hourly contracts. A glimpse of your activities and responsibilities:

Managing the payroll administration in the HR system
Keeping administrative systems, procedures, and processes up to date
Staying up-to-date and providing information regarding the implementation of social laws, taxes, company regulations, salary calculations, and audits
Monitoring and applying the correct legal and fiscal regulations regarding payroll administration
You actively participate in thinking about implementation and optimization projects and advise Collins Foods on these matters
You also serve as a point of contact and advisor regarding payroll administration for our managers and employees
You are responsible for and ensure optimal cooperation with the external Payroll partner.

Requirements

HBO (Higher Professional Education) level of work and thinking
You have at least 5 years of experience as a payroll administrator or payroll specialist
Knowledge of and experience with AFAS and/or Workday is a plus
You have excellent communication skills and are proficient in the Dutch language; additionally, you are able to express yourself well in English
