As Product Owner Data Platform, you hold ultimate responsibility for the 'data platform' product. You monitor the coherence, quality, and future-proofing of the platform and drive value for Jumbo.

Get started! This is what you will do

You are responsible for the vision and further development of Jumbo's central data platform. This platform forms the foundation for data analysts, data scientists, and engineers to build sustainable and reusable products.

You translate strategic goals into a clear roadmap and make conscious choices. You look beyond individual wishes and optimizations and steer towards the whole. In doing so, you continuously weigh quality, simplicity, and impact. What do we add, and what do we specifically leave out?

Together with engineering teams, architects, and other product owners, you work on data ingestion, data governance, data sharing, and the platform foundation. You steer towards consistent construction principles, reusable components, and a platform that feels logical to its users.

The teams you work with are mature and have their own opinions. You bring product thinking: you ask sharp questions, dare to challenge assumptions, and safeguard product quality in the long term.

You keep a sharp eye on progress, quality, and value. You make choices explicit, ensure transparency, and adjust when the product demands it. Not because the process says so, but because the platform must become better.

You operate at the intersection of business, tech, and data. You are the primary point of contact for everything touching the data platform and safeguard the platform as one coherent product. In doing so, you work closely with engineering teams, architecture, product owners, and the Data Leadership Team.
