Working Production Leader Vegetable Processing

Due to increasing activities, they are looking for a Working Production Leader vegetable processing immediately.


Your role

As a Working Production Leader vegetable processing, you are an important link between cultivation, planning, production, and logistics. Together, you ensure that fresh vegetables are processed efficiently and arrive at our customers on time.

No two days are the same. You maintain the overview, adjust where necessary, and actively participate on the work floor yourself.

In short: you ensure that everything on the work floor runs as it should.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Creating the daily order and production planning

• Ensuring that the production lines are optimally staffed and running smoothly

• Leading a team of 15 to 45 employees

• Coordinating the supply and removal of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products

• Handling the associated administration

• Stepping in yourself in production when necessary

• Identifying malfunctions and maintenance work

• Collaborating with the cultivation and planning departments

You are practically minded, stand firm in your shoes, and enjoy taking responsibility. You can switch well between different tasks and know how to lead people in a clear and positive manner.

Furthermore:

• Do you have a completed MBO education or a comparable level through experience

• Do you preferably have experience within an open-field vegetable cultivation company

• Can you work well with employees of different nationalities and backgrounds

• Do you have a good command of the Dutch and English languages; German is important

• Do you speak Polish or Romanian? That's a great bonus!

• Can you lead a team of 15 to 45 employees

• Do you have experience with forklift operations

• Do you work accurately and structuredly and do not shy away from administrative tasks
