Work Preparer

• Completed mbo and/or hbo education in the direction of Civil Engineering and at least 4 years of work experience in a similar position within (utility) residential construction;

• You have knowledge of execution methodologies, construction law, and building regulations;

In the preparatory phase, as a Site Preparer at Heddes Bouw & Ontwikkeling in Hoorn, you provide support for our large, high-quality construction projects. In consultation with the project manager, you perform a project analysis. You are responsible for, among other things, the planning and the creation and checking of 3D production drawings. You also prepare overviews of additional and reduced work and independently create work estimates. You ensure that execution is optimally supported and guarantee the timely delivery of equipment, goods, and services.

We work closely with external parties such as advisors, (permanent) partners, subcontractors, and suppliers. You connect the different parties with each other and ensure good coordination of the activities. The management lies in your hands and you master the process optimally. Do you enjoy, for example, also looking in at other departments, such as planning or procurement? Or do you have other suggestions? We are open to your ideas, we would even love that!

Of course, you do not fulfill this fun job alone. You have a nice team around you of fellow (senior) site preparers, project manager, and of course the site managers and our skilled tradespeople. The involvement with the construction site is great and you are therefore to be found there regularly.
