What we're looking for
You have an MBO level of work and thought;
32 - 40 hours availability per week.
You are administratively and communicatively strong and enjoy interacting with customers in different ways;
You have demonstrable technical knowledge of one or more of our product groups. If you have a strong affinity with our products and experience in customer contact, we will give you the opportunity to expand your knowledge at a high pace so that you can grow into this role.
You have an excellent command of the Dutch language. It is a plus if you also speak English, French, German, Italian, or Spanish;
You enjoy thinking along about improving processes and becoming a little better every day as a team.

What you'll get
A contract of 7 months with a view to permanent employment.
A competitive salary; between €2,699 and €3,547 per month based on 40 hours, depending on your experience and skills.

What are you going to do as a Product Specialist?
HBM Machines offers a wide and deep assortment, including woodworking machines, sheet metal processing machines, garage equipment, automotive items, and related accessories. As a Product Specialist, you play a key role in customer contact and in the technical expertise of our team.
Your responsibilities include:
In this role, you combine technology with customer contact, advice with problem-solving, and commerce with service. No two days are the same - but one thing is certain: you make the difference.
What you'll do
Advise customers on the right machines, tools, and accessories for their job;
Think along about the layout of complete workshops - from hobby rooms to professional studios;
Analyze and solve technical problems with products that do not function as desired;
Aftercare and aftersales: you ensure that customers are and remain satisfied, and you give our service a commercial face.

The Customer Service team currently consists of 18 employees, a Team Lead, and the Manager. The department is continuously professionalizing. For example, we help customers via email, chat, and socials, and we are also calling more and more frequently.
