Lead Engineer - Control Panel Product Group

• We reward you with a salary between € 5,100.00 and € 6,650.00 gross per month, based on 40 hours per week;

• You get 26 vacation days, and if that is not enough for your travel adventures, you can choose an additional 13 ADV days (both based on full-time).

Do you want to build the future of hatcheries worldwide? Do you believe that electronic control, the beating heart of our high-end machines, is at least as important as the incubation itself? Then this role as Lead Engineer Control Panel at HatchTech is for you.

In this full-time position (internally we call this role Product Group Owner Control panel), you are responsible for the further development of our Control panel product group. Together with an international team of currently 4 people, but growing, you will work on innovative, standardized, and modular control cabinets for HatchTech's complete product range. From incubators to chick transport trailers for road use, to advanced industrial automation (to enable sexing in hatching eggs), you contribute to robust and reliable products. In doing so, you look not only at how we do things today, but also at how we can do them better.

You are primarily a technical trailblazer. Someone who understands the content, thinks along, helps build, and assists colleagues. You provide direction based on knowledge, experience, and common sense, not from models or hierarchy. You have a pragmatic mindset and are someone who gets things done together with the team.

As Lead Engineer Control panel, you drive the development of this product group. You bear responsibility for the technical management of the current product range. And you develop further! You design for complex systems with Embedded hardware, PLCs, IPCs, industrial robots, machine vision systems, smart, modular, and especially robust controls. Because you understand the complexity of practice. You make use of the latest 2D and 3D software tools. You will be involved in, among other things:

• Developing a vision and roadmap for the Control panel product group.

• Directing and supporting engineers in the Netherlands and Ukraine through content, experience, and technical expertise.

• Management of the current product range.

• Assessing customer feedback and translating it into improvements.

• Collaborating with Product Group Owners of the Incubation and Software & Control product groups.

• Initiating (and prioritizing) new concepts, innovations, and investment proposals to management.

You work from the principle of modularity and standardization: products must be deployable, scalable, and easy to apply worldwide. A bit like IKEA, but applied to the design of control cabinets.
