Engineer

As a technical drafter/engineer, you are responsible for developing designs into technically sound and manufacturable solutions. You translate ideas into detailed technical drawings while taking into account both the customer's wishes and the manufacturer's capabilities.

You assess designs for manufacturability and technical feasibility and actively contribute ideas for smart, creative, and efficient solutions. Thanks to your technical insight, you ensure that designs are not only beautiful but can also be produced optimally.

In short: you are the link between design and production and play an important role in realizing high-quality end products.

• Fully develops complex designs technically

• Advises on material selection, construction, and processing methods

• Initiates optimizations in drawing and production processes

• Ensures technical standards and monitors manufacturability

• Monitors deadlines and priorities at the project level

• Oversees planning within own area of work

• Actively follows market developments and translates innovations to the organization

• Works fully independently and proactively

• Takes responsibility for technical quality and process optimization

• Advises management on improvements in design and production processes

•      You have a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in the direction of interior construction, furniture technology, Product Engineering, or a similar technical education.

•      You have experience with the technical development of designs and preferably work with a 3D CAD program, such as Rhino.
