The role

What you'll do

  • You lead, coach, develop, motivate, and appraise the employees of your team, which consists of all-round mechanics (in day shifts) and maintenance planners (approximately 15 employees). In this, the emphasis lies on coaching.
  • You are responsible for complying with regulations and procedures in the field of Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE).
  • You create an environment in which continuous improvement is central. You do this by constantly emphasizing the importance of improvement and facilitating the team in identifying areas for improvement and taking action.
  • You are responsible for ensuring the efficient and customer-oriented functioning of the entire technical service, including breakdown services and preventive maintenance.
  • You are responsible for drafting and executing the maintenance plan for preventive maintenance, resolving breakdowns, repairs, small modifications, and improvement projects, with the aim of ensuring the optimal availability of equipment.
  • You periodically evaluate and optimize maintenance concepts and plans in the areas of availability, reliability, maintainability, and cost-efficiency.
  • You analyze breakdown data to realize improvements in maintenance activities.
  • You manage the performance of the technical installations and your own team on a daily basis and report on this.
  • You ensure periodic reporting on breakdowns, the progress of the maintenance budget, and the KPIs. Additionally, you advise the Maintenance Manager on possibilities for improvement.

You will be working in a close-knit and committed team where collaboration is central. Our team consists of colleagues with diverse backgrounds and expertise, allowing us to complement and strengthen each other. We work together towards common goals, share knowledge, and support each other where necessary. In addition to the formal team, in which clear roles and responsibilities are established, we also have an informal network. This informal team arises spontaneously: colleagues seek each other out to exchange ideas, solve problems, and help one another. This ensures an open culture, short lines of communication, and a pleasant working atmosphere in which everyone feels welcome.

Are you a coaching leader who knows how to motivate, develop, and connect people? As Maintenance Supervisor, your team is central. You coach and guide breakdown and maintenance mechanics and maintenance planners, stimulate their personal development, and create a work environment in which collaboration and continuous improvement are central. Together, you ensure optimal maintenance, reliable installations, and maximum performance of our production lines. With your coaching leadership style, you help both employees and the organization grow!

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience;
  • Strong coaching qualities;
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written;
