HBO/WO graduation assignment Software Development (C# .NET)

Are you a student with experience in C# and .NET and do you want to discover how software plays a crucial role within a high-tech laboratory environment? During this graduation assignment, you will work on a concrete software problem within a high-tech laboratory environment.

During your graduation assignment, you will work on a challenging software problem that aligns with your knowledge level, interests, and learning goals. In doing so, you will work closely with our development team and gain insight into the software that plays an important role within the laboratory processes of Eurofins Analytico.

Together with experienced developers, you will contribute to the development of a completely new software suite that forms the core of our laboratory processes. Here, you will work on business-critical systems that support thousands of analyses, work processes, and data flows daily.

You will get the chance to gain practical experience with modern development methodologies and technologies, including Clean Architecture, Domain Driven Design, and AI-assisted development. Additionally, you will work on designing, developing, and maintaining applications within the .NET ecosystem and discover how scalable software solutions are developed within a professional software development environment.

We have several graduation assignments available, varying in complexity. Together, we will look at which assignment best aligns with your knowledge level, interests, and learning goals.

During your internship, you will, among other things:

• Work on software development within the .NET ecosystem with C#;
• Contribute to the development of a new generation of software for our laboratory processes;
• Learn to translate business processes into practical and sustainable software solutions;
• Get acquainted with backend development, APIs, system integrations, and frontend development with Blazor;
• Gain experience with scalable software development and architecture principles such as Clean Architecture, SOLID, and Domain Driven Design;
• Learn to work with AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot;
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, developers, and testers within multidisciplinary teams;
• Gain insight into code reviews and software quality processes;
• Work with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines;
• Gain knowledge of automated testing, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of software.

• You are following an HBO or WO degree in the direction of ICT, Software Development, Computer Science, or similar;
• You have knowledge of C# and modern .NET versions;
• You have knowledge of APIs and object-oriented programming;
• You have knowledge of SQL Server or similar relational databases;
• You are familiar with Visual Studio and/or Visual Studio Code;
• You are analytical, eager to learn, and enjoy working on technical challenges;
• You have an interest in software quality and developing sustainable software solutions;
• You want to further develop yourself in the field of software architecture, Clean Architecture, and Domain Driven Design;
• You are curious about AI-assisted development, Git, CI/CD, Agile working, and modern development methodologies.
