Laboratory Production Worker | Sample Reception and Registration

You ensure that food and feed samples are correctly received, registered, and processed, so that our laboratories can perform reliable analyses. In this role, you will work with a wide variety of products from the food chain, from raw materials to import products from the Port of Rotterdam. You maintain an overview when many things are happening at once, work accurately, and make a direct contribution to food safety in the Netherlands.

• You play an important role in the food safety chain by ensuring that samples are correctly registered and processed.
• You work with a large variety of foodstuffs, raw materials, and import products from both home and abroad.
• You will be given the opportunity to think along about process improvements and more efficient ways of working.

At the Sample Reception & Registration department, samples arrive daily that are examined for food safety and quality. You ensure that these samples are correctly received, checked, registered, and distributed to the correct laboratory departments.

You check whether the received products match the corresponding order and carefully process all data into our systems. When information is missing or does not match, you contact the customer to resolve any ambiguities. In this way, you prevent errors in the subsequent process and ensure that the correct analyses are performed.

In addition, you work with various product groups, systems, and codings, and you regularly communicate with laboratory colleagues, partner labs, and other internal departments. Thanks to your accuracy and overview, processes run smoothly and customers can rely on reliable results.

• You are available for 32 to 40 hours per week.

• A one-year contract with a view to permanent employment (32-40 hours).
• A salary between €2,650.00 and €3,000.00 gross per month based on 40 hours, depending on knowledge and experience.
