Production Worker Food Safety Sample Registration (On-call)

As a Production Worker Food Safety Sample Registration, you ensure that food and feed samples are correctly received and processed, so that our laboratory can perform reliable analyses. In this role, you work with a wide variety of products from the food chain and play an important role in monitoring food safety in the Netherlands. You maintain an overview when many things are happening at once, coordinate with various colleagues, and see the direct result of your work reflected in the laboratory process.

At the Sample Reception & Registration department, hundreds of samples arrive daily that are examined for food safety and quality. You receive these samples, check the corresponding data, and carefully register everything in our systems. Subsequently, you sort and prioritize the samples so that they reach the correct laboratory department in a timely manner.

You check whether the received products match the provided information. Do you see discrepancies or missing data? Then you coordinate internally or with the customer to ensure that the correct analyses are performed. You work with various systems, product groups, and codings and ensure that all data is processed correctly. In this way, you help prevent errors from occurring further down the process and make a direct contribution to reliable research results and food safety.
