The accredited laboratories of Eurofins Environment offer an extensive package of chemical, physical, and biological analyses in all environmental matrices in the Netherlands. Through years of experience, they possess extensive knowledge in both routine analyses and non-standard analyses, including analyses of special compounds and micropollutants. Eurofins is a market leader in the field of specialist research; clients include water quality managers, Rijkswaterstaat, provincial and municipal governments, environmental consultancy firms, industry, and contractors. Approximately 700 motivated experts manage the process from sampling to the digital reporting of the analytical results. Analyses primarily take place in laboratories in Amsterdam (Eurofins Omegam), Barneveld (Eurofins Analytico), Barendrecht (Sanitas Groep), and Deurningen (ACMAA).

The logistical activities of Eurofins are housed within Eurofins Logistics Benelux B.V. Logistics is of decisive importance to Eurofins. On one hand, to relieve customers of the burden of transporting product samples, and on the other hand, because Eurofins laboratories in the Netherlands and surrounding countries often have highly specific testing competencies. This means that the product samples to be tested must be efficiently distributed across various locations. For this purpose, Eurofins makes its own logistical services available in the form of distribution networks, warehouses, and centralized customer service. A large team of logistics employees works 7 days per week to optimally serve the Eurofins laboratories and customers.

You will become the central point of contact and thus provide hundreds of companies with their logistical needs to and from the Eurofins laboratories within the Benelux. Something like the well-known spider in the web....

You handle order intake, both by telephone and by email, and you answer all questions that customers may have regarding our logistical services; you work closely with your colleagues in the planning department and the commercial teams of the Eurofins laboratories within the Benelux. You support the operation/planning if necessary.

Additionally, you contribute to the optimization of the (logistical) processes within our department. That might sound somewhat unclear, but in short, it boils down to the fact that your input is valued by us.

You communicate smoothly, you are service-oriented, and you always ensure the correct handling of complaints; a 100% satisfied customer is what you strive for.

• Minimum MBO4 working and thinking level (a direction in Logistics is a plus, not required);
• Excellent command of the Dutch & English language (both spoken and written);
•  Strong communicator (written and verbal);
• Preferably living in the region;
• You are open to new things and know how to quickly find your feet.

• This vacancy can be filled both full-time and part-time. For a part-time employment, a minimum availability of 20 hours per week applies.
