Sales Manager

Are you an experienced sales professional who gets energy from people and cars? As a Sales Manager (40 hours) at Nefkens in Nieuwegein, you will provide daily direction to the sale of new and used cars. You coach two experienced salespeople, but you also remain active among the customers and participate in sales yourself.

You will work with a large stock of used cars and with the rapidly growing brand Leapmotor. With this, you will work together with the team to further build a new brand position alongside our existing used car activities. You will receive plenty of room to think commercially, to advance the team, and to exploit opportunities in the market.

As Sales Manager, you are responsible for the daily management of the new and used sales department. You ensure clear goals, monitor progress, and know when to make adjustments.

At the same time, you are personally active in sales. You speak with customers, advise on cars, make deals, and maintain a feeling for what is happening on the showroom floor and in the market.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Daily management of the sale of new and used cars;
• Coaching, motivating, and developing the sales team;
• Actively selling to private and business end-users yourself;
• Providing direction to the commercial policy and translating this into daily practice;
• Handling complaints and ensuring an appropriate solution;
• Working with systems such as SAM and GSF;
• Contributing to the further growth of Leapmotor alongside our existing used car activities;
• Coordinating with colleagues inside and outside the branch and maintaining contacts with customers and other relations.

You are commercially strong, but you do not have to be the loudest person in the showroom. You know how to get people on board by communicating clearly, providing trust, and leading by example.

You are an open person and a true team player. You give compliments when things are going well, encourage people to get the best out of themselves, and dare to adjust course when necessary. You find it important that agreements are clear and that colleagues know where they stand.
