Do you want to work on projects that visibly contribute to the living environment? As an infrastructure project coordinator, you will work on infrastructure projects where technology, collaboration, and good preparation come together.
Within this role, you will work on various projects in the region. You are involved from the initial preparation through to execution and play an important role in finding practical and technical solutions. This involves infrastructure projects, but also projects that have an interface with civil engineering and hydraulic engineering.
Within the "Werken van Waterschap Limburg" framework agreement, we will work over the next 5 years on projects such as cleaning up waterworks, dike reinforcements, and redesigns with a focus on improving water quality. Currently, we are working on the redesign of the Kwistbeek to prevent flooding and create a climate-resilient stream valley. Within the framework agreement, you will collaborate with our partners who specialize in civil and hydraulic engineering. From your expertise within infra, you will make an important contribution to the preparation and execution of the projects. You will think along about technical solutions, monitor feasibility, and ensure that the various disciplines align well with each other.
In your role, you ensure a strong foundation for our projects. You prepare work budgets and project schedules, translate client requests into technical solutions, and independently organize design sessions to arrive at the best approach. During execution, you remain involved in the project. You have a lot of contact with the site manager and ensure that changes, extra work, less work, and costs are properly tracked.
You work on multiple projects simultaneously and are given plenty of room to contribute ideas. At Dura Vermeer, we find collaboration and knowledge sharing important: As a project coordinator, you participate in the project coordinators' meeting. Here, we share experiences, discuss projects, and learn from one another. You also have regular contact with your supervisor regarding your development and progress.
Dura Vermeer is an independent family business. And you can feel that. In how we work together, how we look out for one another, and how we build with an eye on future generations. Since 1855, we have been building the Netherlands, in residential construction, utility construction, infrastructure, and technology. Our independence and long-term vision form the basis for this.
With a turnover of € 2.6 billion and over 3,700 colleagues, we are among the top of the Dutch construction sector. But ultimately, for us, it is not about those figures. It is about people. About colleagues working together on projects you can be proud of – iconic and close to home – and contributing to solutions for societal issues.
Our ambitions are great. And we only achieve them with engaged people. That is why we invest in good employer ship and a work environment in which you feel at home. Where you can be yourself, feel safe, and speak up. So that you get the best out of yourself and make more together with us.
You will work in the team of Dura Vermeer Infra Regional Projects South East. There is plenty of room for initiative in this team, and if you have ideas, we would love to hear them! Additionally, we offer you the opportunity to develop in areas where your passion lies. Our regional office is located in Den Bosch, but the region covers all of East Brabant and Limburg. It is a plus if you live centrally in the region, as we will need you on various projects.
In addition to hard work, we find sociability important. That is why we regularly organize moments to come together, such as the monthly Friday afternoon drinks and various team activities.
