Are you the financial sparring partner who takes projects to a higher level, even before the first shovel hits the ground?
Do you have several years of experience in finance, controlling, or accountancy and want to play a key role in the preparation of complex construction projects? Then this position is for you.
As a Business Controller at Dura Vermeer Bouw en Vastgoed Den Bosch, you are not only responsible for figures and reports. From the tender and quotation phase onwards, you are involved in projects and support project teams in making well-founded choices. You analyze risks, test contracts, draw up schedules, and ensure that projects start strong both financially and organizationally.
After the award and start-up of the project, you controlledly hand over the financial project control to the execution team and the project administration. In doing so, you play a crucial role in the success of our projects.
As a Business Controller, you work at the intersection of project control, business control, and tender management. You are an important sparring partner for Tender and Project Managers.
Your responsibilities include, among other things:
Financial guidance of projects from the quotation and tender phase to the start of construction;
Drawing up business cases, project forecasts, and financial scenario analyses;
Identifying risks and opportunities within tenders and projects;
Testing contracts and financial agreements for both the client and the contractor sides;
Drawing up and reviewing schedules and cash flow forecasts;
Advising tender teams and project management on commercial and financial decision-making;
Developing management information and dashboards using BI solutions;
Investigating and applying AI and data-driven possibilities within project control;
Monitoring financial principles before projects are handed over to execution and project administration.
