• demonstrable experience in logistics and in a leadership role, where you clearly provide direction and know how to engage employees;
• experience with warehouse management systems or the ability to quickly master new systems;
• good command of the English language, whereby command of the Dutch language is a plus;
• flexibility, stress resistance, and the ability to switch quickly in a dynamic work environment, where you are present on the shop floor 50% of your time;

Are you a true people manager with experience in logistics? As a warehouse supervisor at DSV, you will lead the outbound process for our fashion customers. In a 2-shift system, you ensure that every order departs on time and in top quality.

Responsible for the operational management of our warehouse team. With your energy, leadership, and overview, you know how to motivate and provide direction to the team every single day: you contribute to making this happen.

How do you do this? As a warehouse supervisor, you are responsible for coordinating and managing your team. In doing so, you keep an eye on monitoring quality and are able to switch effectively between different departments and our customers. You are responsible for monitoring the daily schedule, continuously monitoring progress, and translating performance into clear KPI reports. At the same time, you are alert to deviations or problems in the operation and know how to intervene quickly with appropriate solutions. Your team consists of approximately 25 - 30 people. You achieve this by:

• conducting performance and development reviews, managing absenteeism, and leading staff meetings, informing employees about all occurring topics both personally and via the Blue Box meetings with the team;
• monitoring quality, productivity, and the safe execution of our logistical processes based on daily and weekly schedules and within DSV procedures;
• actively contributing to improvement projects in collaboration with engineering, project management, and IT, further developing and optimizing these projects, and celebrating the achieved success together with your team.
