As a Warehouse Team Leader, you are responsible for the daily management of the warehouse team at our location in the Europoort. In this role, you are more than a working foreman: you are a professional leader who takes ownership of the operation, the people, and the results. You provide structure, monitor progress, and create a work environment in which safety, quality, and collaboration are second nature. With your leadership, you know how to motivate employees, make expectations clear, and continuously improve processes. You are visible on the floor, communicate professionally at all levels, and know how to translate operational objectives into a well-organized and motivated execution.

• You bear the daily operational responsibility for the warehouse and manage a team of approximately 8-10 employees in a professional, clear, and result-oriented manner.

• You monitor the progress of the work, set priorities, and ensure that the operational planning is executed efficiently, safely, and according to agreement.

• You are responsible for the personnel guidance of your team, including conducting performance and development reviews, managing absenteeism, and actively steering attitude, behavior, and performance.

• You create a professional and safe work culture in which employees know what is expected of them, feel heard, and are held accountable for ownership and responsibility.

• You identify bottlenecks in capacity, quality, collaboration, or process design and act proactively on these in coordination with the Warehouse Supervisor.

• You work in a data-driven manner and make active use of systems and reports such as WMS, PowerBI, and JobClick to monitor, adjust, and further optimize the operation.

• You make an active contribution to the continuous improvement of processes, collaboration, and operational performance within the warehouse.

• You communicate professionally, clearly, and firmly, and know how to build authority and trust naturally.

• You are decisive, safety-conscious, and able to maintain calm, structure, and overview in a dynamic operational environment.
