MBO level in the direction of logistics or transport, or several years of relevant work experience;
Takes responsibility and works independently and proactively;
Is customer-oriented, structured, problem-solving, and analytical;
Manages the daily operation effectively;

A suitable salary (€ 2,750 to € 3,750), 30 vacation days (based on full-time), 8% holiday allowance, a holiday bonus of € 550 gross, and a good pension scheme;

Within our Modality team (7 colleagues), everything revolves around ensuring the smooth running of our intermodal transports via Ferry & Rail. As a Modality Employee, you collect information from our intermodal suppliers, plan tank containers based on available capacity, and keep the operational status fully up-to-date. If something goes differently than planned—a strike or rail and terminal works—you switch gears quickly and arrange alternatives. You will join a young, dynamic department where everyone has their own responsibilities, but helps each other where necessary.
Collecting information about our Ferry, Rail, and Deepsea suppliers and processing it in the Transport Management System;
In case of deviations from planned intermodal transports, you inform all involved departments;
You plan tank containers based on the capacity on the intermodal routes;
In case of delays (strikes, rail or terminal works), you share these with colleagues and ensure alternatives are provided;
You advise colleagues on improvements in execution, so that the service for the customer is improved;
You measure the service level of the intermodal suppliers and report to Procurement.
