Where will you work?
You will join Royal Den Hartogh Logistics, an international and leading logistics service provider for the chemical, gas, polymer, and food industries. For our Business Unit Liquid we are looking for a customer service representative. This department is responsible for the execution of transport. As an account manager, you translate the commercial and operational agreements made with the customer into instructions for colleagues and partners and coordinate the transport from order intake to invoicing.

• Within the department, you are the contact person for a number of (international) customers;

• You are responsible for the operational execution and associated administration;

• This means daily contact with customers and internal departments, shipping companies, rail companies, cleaning stations, and many other supply chain partners;

• Together with colleagues, you offer the customer creative transport solutions to expand and/or optimize existing business;

• In short, a linchpin who directs and controls all parties to execute the transport to the satisfaction of the customer.

• MBO/HBO working and thinking level and an education obtained in logistics and/or transport, or several years of work experience;

• You take responsibility and demonstrate this by being independent and proactive;

• Customer-oriented, commercial, structured, problem-solving, and analytical;

• Capable of managing the daily operation as well as improvement projects;

• You master both the Dutch and English languages excellently, in speech and in writing.
