As a support & installation employee, you will have a wonderful, varied challenge. From contacting skippers on board, to preparing new installations and supporting our installers, together with your colleagues from the installation & support department, you are crucial to everything surrounding smooth installations and happy customers.
You are the first point of contact for customers and suppliers. Daily, you are in contact with our customers to answer questions, troubleshoot malfunctions, and initiate the correct actions for a good handling of the support request. You are always looking for the right solution to a problem or question. To achieve this, you dare to switch quickly with colleagues, installers, and suppliers, so that every support request is handled efficiently and well. Not busy with support requests? Then you help with the (administrative) preparation for new installations.
Shipping Technology is a leading player in the maritime sector, specializing in innovative technological solutions for the shipping industry. Our team consists of passionate professionals working together to improve the efficiency and sustainability of the maritime sector.
You are the first point of contact for customers and support where necessary by answering questions and resolving malfunctions.
You communicate with the installers regarding planning, ongoing installations, and stock.
You troubleshoot (simple) malfunctions and resolve the issue.
You think proactively along in improving processes within the department.

Education: You have at least a completed MBO 3 level education.
Experience: Experience in shipping, logistics, or support is a plus, but certainly not a requirement. Are you handy, do you learn quickly, and do you enjoy looking things up? Then we will teach you the ropes of the trade!
You speak fluent Dutch and English (written and spoken). German is a plus;
You have a Driver's License B
Possibly you already have knowledge in inland shipping and possess general technical knowledge.
You are naturally very curious and love learning new things. You communicate easily with colleagues, customers, and installers, both by telephone, email, and face-to-face. You love solving problems and maintain a flexible attitude in doing so. You always have everything in order: you love it when everything is well-organized and clear. And if something is not going well, you look for ways to make your work easier/better. Recording agreements, working methods, and other administrative tasks is no problem for you. And of course, you are a pleasant, cheerful colleague who likes to work towards the same goal as all other ST colleagues. Namely: Every Ship a Smart Ship!
A salary of up to €3800 gross per month, depending on your knowledge and experience;
