HBO Graduation Internship: Application of AI for Spare Parts Identification

For our Receiving department, we are looking for a graduation intern to investigate how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can contribute to faster and more accurate identification of parts within the receiving process. You will map out existing AI applications both within and outside of DAF, assess the possibilities for our operation, and translate your findings into concrete advice for implementation.

• Collaborating within the receiving process to get to know the department's activities, challenges, and needs well;
• Investigating which AI solutions for part identification are already available within DAF;
• Exploring relevant AI applications and best practices at other organizations;
• Assessing which solutions are most suitable for application within the Receiving department's receiving process;
• Drafting a substantiated recommendation for the integration of an existing AI solution into the current process.
