What we're looking for
- You have a completed HBO (higher professional education) or WO (university) degree in the field of Accountancy, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration;
- At least 3 years of work experience in the role of Auditor.

What you'll do
Your new job | About your key responsibilities
As a member of EY SAS, you will work together with our audit teams and get the chance to gain experience with diverse clients, various COS standards, a wide range of national and European subsidy schemes, and other accountability reports for specific purposes. Furthermore, you will get the opportunity to be involved in the audit of annual accounts. You will take on responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:
- Within subsidy audit, you will be part of various engagement teams and, if necessary, work together with other service lines within EY. These projects have a short turnaround time, in which you are involved from start to finish;
- In addition to assessing figures in the accountability reports, you will also deal with the underlying business processes and the "rules of the game" applicable from the subsidy provider or other stakeholders;
- Your tasks include a wide range of activities, including contributing to the audit strategy, auditing various cost items in subsidy accountability reports, and (co-)preparing accountant reports, such as audit opinions, assurance reports, and reports of factual findings.
There are various opportunities for your personal development, for example, in the areas of coaching, innovation, or quality improvement. We also encourage the possibility of pursuing further studies alongside your work to obtain an AA or RA title.

Within the Subsidy Audit Services (SAS) department, we work with an expert team of approximately 60 professionals focusing on all audit products in addition to the audit of annual accounts. The Netherlands provides many subsidies to projects carried out by our clients.
Think of research institutions, universities, universities of applied sciences, hospitals, local government, multinationals, but also start-ups and scale-ups. At the end of a project, we determine whether the project was carried out and specifically whether the costs incurred meet the conditions. As a team member, you will participate in our audit teams, which offers you the opportunity to gain experience with a diverse client portfolio.

Our office in Zwolle has been recently renovated and feels modern and fresh. Its location near the highway makes the office easily accessible.
