For the Ground Operations department, we are looking for an enthusiastic and eager-to-learn intern starting from February 2027. As a Ground Operations Intern, you will become part of the Ground Handling team. You will contribute to the efficient and effective handling of passengers and aircraft within our extensive network. You will work closely with the Ground Operations Coordinators and Manager Ground Operations and play an important role in improving our flight handling processes.
Your responsibilities:
Representing our organization and acting as a point of contact for Ground Operations-related matters.
Maintaining contact with external parties such as handlers and passengers.
Supervising the quality of our suppliers' performance in accordance with contracts and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) regarding catering, check-in, gate and platform handling, and cleaning.
Reporting incidents, drafting Handling Irregularity Reports, and making recommendations for process improvements.
Regularly being present at departure flights to monitor processes.
You will work both at the airport and at our head office in Badhoevedorp. Together with your colleagues, you will safeguard the quality of our services and ensure that all involved parties, from passengers to internal departments, are provided with accurate information. You will have frequent contact with departments such as Base Coordination, Operation Control, catering, Customer Care, and Cabin Operations.
