IT Support Specialist

As an IT Support Specialist, you start your shift with a check of Datadog, open tickets, and telephone availability. Systems green, tickets in view, and reachable by phone? Great! Something not right? Then you pick that up immediately. You help colleagues via Slack, Jira, and the phone, you resolve questions and malfunctions, and you involve the right team if necessary. During larger incidents, you maintain an overview in a possible war-room and coordinate actions with other teams.

• Starting with a monitoring check in Datadog and jumping in immediately if systems show signs of trouble.
• Resolving incidents, from forgotten passwords to complex system failures.
• Bringing structure to a Slack war-room when things are creaking and groaning.
• Arranging access to tools and systems, from new colleagues to temporary experts.
• Quickly resolving simple questions that are a showstopper for others.
• Helping colleagues via Slack, telephone, Jira, or during a remote session.
