Junior Procurement Specialist

• Completed university or HBO (higher professional education) degree, for example in Business Administration, Economics, or Supply Chain Management.

As a Buyer (Indirect Spend), you help other departments procure products and services for Coolblue's own use, with a specific focus on the Marketing and Brand domain. From TV and Radio media deals to software licenses, and from the blue boxes to the coolest Coolblue parties. You ensure the best deals and, together with your colleagues, devise how we can deal even smarter with our suppliers, contracts, and expenditures.

As a Buyer (Indirect Spend), you ensure that every euro Coolblue spends is used as efficiently as possible. You carry out procurement projects where you interact extensively with suppliers and with colleagues from other departments. Together with them, you investigate what is needed, translate that need into a smart procurement plan, and search for the best deal with existing and new suppliers. You look closely at market developments and adjust your strategy accordingly, making Coolblue a little better every day.

Based on analyses, you think at least a quarter ahead, start projects yourself, and act as a Business Partner for Coolblue's marketing teams. You also work closely with the Legal team to ensure that all agreements and contracts with suppliers are even better.
