Are you a law student with an interest in infrastructure, energy, project development, and finance? Then a student internship within our Project Development & Finance product group is the opportunity for you.

During your two-month internship:

• you will be fully involved in the practice;
• you will be guided by a mentor and a buddy;
• you will work on real files.

Duties include:

• drafting notes, advice, and correspondence;
• conducting legal research;
• attending meetings and hearings;
• translating legal documents.

In addition, you can participate in training via the Clifford Chance Academy and at social events within the firm. This way, you will get a complete picture of both the work and the culture.

What we offer:

Within this product group, we advise on project development and project finance in sectors such as energy, infrastructure, natural resources, and transport. You will work on complex projects where contractual agreements, financing structures, regulation, and risk management converge.

Our work includes, among others, project and financing documentation, public-private partnerships, multi-source financing, risk allocation, and regulatory issues. We advise sponsors, financiers, governments, contractors, and investors on greenfield and brownfield projects, including projects that contribute to the energy transition.

You will often work together with colleagues from, among others, construction, environmental, tax, regulatory, and disputes, so that clients receive integrated advice from development through to financing and execution.
