Salary between €2,645.47 and €3,289.31 in accordance with Job Group 6 of the Hospitality Collective Labor Agreement. Matching your skills and experience.

The role

As Restaurant Supervisor, you are the face of our restaurant 'Papa's Loft House', inspired by the stories of Papa: Ernest Hemingway. You form the link between the team and the Operations Manager.

What you'll do

You are responsible for the daily operations in the restaurant. You lead the service staff team, create the schedules, act as a point of contact for the team, and provide coaching. Additionally, you ensure there is always sufficient stock and keep an eye on costs. During opening hours, you ensure that the restaurant, the terrace, and our rooftop always look fantastic and that everything runs efficiently. You are also actively involved in the preparation and execution of events, such as BBQs and walking dinners, both in the restaurant and on the rooftop. You enjoy thinking along about the future and our brand!

Requirements

A WEEK IN THE LIFE OF...

You’ll work 4 or 5 days a week in the restaurant. During peak hours (12:00–14:00 and 18:00–20:00), you're present on the floor to lead and support the team. In between, you have time for your administrative tasks. As the key between the team and the Operations Manager, you’ll also have weekly check-ins to align and optimize operations. You’ll prepare the schedule at least three weeks in advance—so you always know what’s coming! Work hard, play harder!

Furthermore, in addition to the restaurant, you will also find our hotel: Element Amsterdam Hotel. Papa's Beach House is located in the Haarlemmermeerse Bos in Hoofddorp by a beautiful lake. Both locations offer various possibilities for organizing private events, business drinks, and weddings.
