Are you an enthusiastic cook with a passion for flavor, quality, and hospitality? TheaterHotel De Oranjerie is looking for a Independent Working Cook to join our kitchen team!

TheaterHotel De Oranjerie is the cultural and culinary meeting place of Roermond. Located in the heart of the historic center, you will find our impressive four-star hotel with 146 luxury hotel rooms, 12 multifunctional meeting and conference rooms, an atmospheric Grand Café, a stylish à-la-carte restaurant, and a beautiful theater.

As an independent working cook, you are an important link in our kitchen and contribute to the culinary experience of our guests. You are responsible for the preparation and cooking of dishes. In doing so, you will work alternatingly in the kitchen of our à-la-carte restaurant during dinner and in the Grand Café during lunch.

• You independently prepare dishes according to recipe and planning.

• You handle the mise-en-place and ensure good preparation of the tasks.

• You monitor the quality, presentation, and continuity of the dishes.

• You limit food waste and handle raw materials efficiently.

• You carefully follow hygiene and safety regulations (HACCP).

• You keep an eye on stocks and submit orders in a timely manner.

• You actively contribute to a pleasant working atmosphere in which hospitality, quality, and teamwork are central.
