Implementing a warehouse management system is more than configuring software. It is about understanding how a warehouse works, designing smarter processes, and ensuring that employees can get to work with it immediately.
Do you enjoy working on varied projects, do you love customer contact, and do you get energy from improving logistical processes? Then we would love to meet you.
As an Implementation Consultant Locus WMS, you guide customers from the first introduction to a successful go-live and beyond. You translate logistical processes into a smart configuration of Locus WMS, provide advice that truly helps customers move forward, and are regularly on-site to see with your own eyes how the operation runs. You would rather be among the employees on the warehouse floor than behind a desk, because you know that is where the best solutions arise.
Your base is one of our Centric locations, but your work takes place mainly at customer sites, in the office, and from home. It is precisely that variety that makes this function interesting. You are regularly on-site to guide implementations and analyze processes, while you can perform preparation, configuration, and meetings hybridly. Depending on the project location, an occasional overnight stay may be part of your work.
Because our customers also rely on us outside of office hours, you and your colleagues will participate in a periodic standby roster. During your standby shift, you are available outside regular working hours for urgent support. Naturally, you do this together with an experienced team, according to a predetermined schedule and with the corresponding compensation.
As an implementation consultant, you are the link between logistical practice and our software. You guide implementations from start to finish and ensure that customers make optimal use of Locus WMS.
Analyzing logistical processes and translating these into a suitable configuration of Locus WMS.
Guiding implementation trajectories, from inventory and design to configuration, testing, training, and go-live.
Advising customers on efficient warehouse processes and best practices.
Drafting functional designs, test scenarios, and guiding User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Providing training and knowledge transfer to key users and end users.
Translating customer wishes into clear functional requirements for development and support.
Identifying opportunities for improvement after go-live and advising on further optimizations.
Collaborating with project leaders, business consultants, developers, and support colleagues.
Contributing to the further development of our implementation methodology and standard solutions.
No two implementations are the same. One period you might be guiding a complete implementation trajectory at a large logistics service provider, while the next week you are helping an existing customer further optimize their warehouse processes. You combine consultancy, process improvement, configuration, and customer contact in one role. You get a lot of freedom to take on projects independently, while you can always brainstorm with experienced colleagues. Within our Locus WMS Business Unit, you will work in a team where sharing knowledge is a matter of course and where there is room for your own initiative and development.
You are curious, analytical, and enjoy helping customers move forward. You know how to quickly grasp processes and can make complex issues understandable.
