Forward Deployed Engineer

• A permanent contract of 32, 36, or 40 hours with a compensation budget up to €8,200, gross per month incl. holiday allowance and mobility allowance;

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you translate complex business challenges into production-ready AI, data, and automation solutions.

• You work closely with the customer and combine technical expertise with a strong understanding of processes, users, and organizational objectives.
• You speak with stakeholders, analyze business processes, design solutions, and build prototypes that grow into scalable implementations. In doing so, you collaborate with AI Engineers, Platform Engineers, architects, and customer teams to successfully bring solutions into production.
• You help organizations with the implementation of Agentic AI, automation, and AI platforms, and ensure not only that technology works, but especially that it is used and delivers value.
• Through your combination of engineering, consultancy, solution design, and adoption guidance, you make a tangible impact for customers and contribute to innovative services within AI & Automation.

• Working on AI, data, and automation solutions that translate business challenges into production-ready applications within customer environments.
• Collaborating with stakeholders, end users, AI Engineers, Platform Engineers, and architects to realize customer value, adoption, and successful implementations.
• Personal guidance from experienced professionals who support you in your development as a consultant, engineer, and trusted advisor.
• A strong in-house L&D program with which you can further develop within AI, Agentic AI, automation, solution design, and business consultancy.
• Flexible work options where you work alternatingly from home, Sogeti locations, and together with customers on impactful projects.

• HBO or WO level of work and thinking.
• Experience at the intersection of software engineering, AI, data, automation, or solution design.
• You can analyze business processes and translate them into working AI, data, and automation solutions.
• Experience with stakeholder management and collaborating with users and customer teams.
• Knowledge of AI, Agentic AI, automation, and the implementation of solutions within existing processes and systems.
• You switch easily between technical depth and business issues and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
• You enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams and take ownership of realizing customer value and adoption.
• You speak fluent Dutch (C1).
