As an APS Consultant, you will take on the challenge of developing systems that allow our customers to solve their complex planning puzzles. In the role of IPC (Industry Process Consultant), you make the translation from customer requirements to workable solutions within the Quintiq planning software. Your opportunities as an Advanced Planning and Scheduling Consultant at Capgemini

Within our team, Quintiq Software Experts (SwE) consultants work closely with the IPCs and other ICT professionals. As IPCs, you are the contact person for the customer for the development team. In workshops or discussions, you gather customer wishes and assess whether these are realizable within the standard Quintiq solutions. If a change to the software is required, you translate the customer wish into technical requirements. You work closely with the Quintiq Software experts, who ultimately design and develop the technical solution. Within the team, there is close collaboration between different experts, with everyone bringing their own specialization. Through the various expertises and close collaboration, we can create solutions that align precisely with the specific planning challenges of our customers.

In your role as an APS Industry Process Consultant, you are daily engaged in:

• Conducting conversations with end users to map out their planning needs and requirements.
• The translation of functional customer wishes into a technical solution.
• Assessing the technical feasibility of customer requirements within Quintiq.
• Testing whether the developed solution meets the stated customer requirements.
• Providing feedback on the realized solutions to the customer with a demo or presentation.
• You are a technical consultant and have enough knowledge of the system to make a good assessment of what is possible within Quintiq. You are communicatively strong and know how to convert customer wishes into clear requirements for the team. In this role, you will develop yourself into an expert in planning issues and work together with a driven team to create the best solution for the customer.

• A completed WO Master's degree, in for example Operations Research, Econometrics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or another study in the STEM fields.
• Communicatively strong and able to take the customer along in your story.
• Affinity with operational planning processes such as logistics, Supply Chain, or workforce planning.
• Experience with programming: C#, Java and/or Python.
• IPC Certificate
• You have at least 4 years of relevant work experience, where experience in consultancy is a plus.
• An excellent command of the English language, Dutch is a plus.
