Senior Automation Engineer

• A permanent contract of 32, 36, or 40 hours with a compensation budget up to € 8,300 gross per month incl. holiday allowance and mobility allowance;

You combine deep knowledge of RPA, integrations, software development, and AI to optimize complex business processes and make them future-proof.

You collaborate with architects, developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders on innovative solutions that are actually deployed in production. In doing so, you get the freedom to provide direction to technical choices, coach colleagues, and help organizations in their transition to Intelligent Automation.

As a Senior Automation Engineer, you are more than a developer. You are a technical trailblazer who translates business challenges into scalable and sustainable automation solutions.

You analyze complex processes, advise clients on the right automation strategy, and determine when RPA, API integrations, workflow automation, or AI adds the most value. You design robust solutions that comply with architecture, security, and governance guidelines and ensure successful implementation within enterprise environments.

Additionally, you play an important role in knowledge sharing, mentoring less experienced colleagues, and further expanding our Automation Community.

• Designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-grade automation solutions using, among others, UiPath, Blue Prism,
• Power Automate or similar platforms;
• Advising clients on automation strategies, operating models, and scalable automation capabilities;
• Realizing end-to-end solutions where RPA, API integrations, workflow platforms, AI, and document processing converge;
• Developing integrations with business applications via REST, SOAP, and event-driven architectures;
• Working in multidisciplinary teams with Software Engineers, Data Engineers, Solution Architects, and Cloud specialists;
• Thinking along about solution architecture, security, governance, monitoring, and lifecycle management;
• Coaching and mentoring mid-level and junior Automation Engineers;
• Contributing to innovation in the fields of Generative AI, Agentic AI, Process Mining, and Intelligent Document Processing;
• Actively participating in our Automation Community and knowledge sharing within Sogeti.
