Senior Data Engineer

• Experience as a Data Engineer or in a comparable data‑driven role;
• A completed HBO or WO degree;
• Knowledge of Python, SQL, Java, SAS, or MS SQL;
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, data integration, and data modeling;
• Familiarity with data profiling, metadata management, and data warehouse architectures;
• An analytical, result-oriented, and methodical working style;
• You speak fluent Dutch (C1 level).

Because our assignments are fully conducted in Dutch, fluent Dutch language skills are a mandatory requirement for this role.

• A permanent contract of 32, 36, or 40 hours, with a salary up to €7,101.67 gross per month including holiday allowance and mobility allowance;

As a Senior Data Engineer at Sogeti, you work on end‑to‑end data solutions that help organizations become smarter, more efficient, and future-proof. You translate complex data challenges into scalable and robust data architectures, and build modern solutions such as Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Lakehouses. Using technologies like Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and Snowflake, you realize reliable data pipelines and effective ELT processes. You work closely with clients and fellow specialists, ensure data quality and security, and ensure that solutions truly land within the organization and are used. Additionally, you play an important role in coaching junior engineers and actively contribute to knowledge sharing within our data community.
