Senior Consultant SAP Integrations

At KPMG, we work on large-scale SAP implementations where complete business processes are set up or renewed, often in the context of S/4HANA transitions. These projects have a long duration, multiple workflows, and a clear focus on governance, integration, and change. We work together with large, often international, organizations within the Netherlands for whom SAP is a core system within finance, supply chain, procurement, and operations, and where the impact is felt throughout the entire organization.

As a Senior Consultant, you bring solid hands-on experience and take ownership of your own integration workstreams, while simultaneously having the space to grow towards end‑to‑end architectures. You work in an environment where learning, knowledge sharing, and curiosity are central, and where you are encouraged to expand your skills by taking on increasingly complex design responsibilities. Together with experienced architects and senior leaders, you contribute to the development of our integration approach and receive the guidance needed to eventually grow into a more strategic, architectural role.

• Supporting the design and delivery of integration solutions for SAP S/4HANA using SAP BTP and Integration Suite (Cloud Integration/CPI, API Management, (Advanced) Event Mesh, Integration Advisor) to connect SAP S/4HANA with SAP and non‑SAP systems, according to SAP best practices and integration patterns.
• Translating integration requirements into practical designs and contributing to hands-on implementation work.
• Developing and executing integration strategies within Greenfield, Brownfield, and Bluefield projects, and aligning with project management to safeguard the scope, planning, and deliverables of integration workstreams.
• Coordinating within the integration workstream and aligning with both technical and functional stakeholders.
• Participating in workshops, client meetings, and project activities with a project-based approach.
• Contributing to proposal work, presentations, and internal knowledge sharing.
• Communicating confidently with technical counterparts at the client and gradually taking more ownership of your own workstream.

• Minimum 3–6 years of experience with SAP integration, including hands-on design and implementation with SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• A consulting mindset is a must. 
• Demonstrable expertise in SAP Cloud Integration (CPI).
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud transformation programs.
• Familiarity with Greenfield, Brownfield, and Bluefield implementations, migration strategies, and best practices.
• Completed academic (Master's) degree, preferably in (Technical) Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field.
• Insight into different integration methodologies: synchronous/asynchronous, real‑time, event‑driven, API‑led, and batch‑oriented.
• You think conceptually, work in a structured manner, and derive energy from complex issues.
• An enthusiastic team player with a growth mindset, who is willing to go the extra mile.
• It is a plus if you have experience or interest in CAP, RAP, RISE, UI5 and/or pre‑sales activities (RFPs).
• You speak Dutch and reside in the Netherlands at the time of application.
• You have an affinity with (generative) AI and are motivated to actively apply this technology in your daily work
