Senior Lead Engineer

Within the Technical Projects department of BESIX Unitec, we realize complex and innovative turnkey projects in which various technical disciplines converge. That makes us a major player today in the automation of large infrastructure projects. We provide the total solution (Design -> Engineering -> Execution -> Maintenance) with, among other things, a strong focus on movable bridges & locks.

For the largest civil engineering hydraulic works in the Netherlands, we are looking for a Senior Lead Engineer.

• As Senior Lead Engineer, you hold ultimate responsibility for the full hardware engineering scope within your projects.
• You take on a key role in determining the technical direction and ensure that everything from concept to execution is optimally aligned.
• You draw up the engineering planning and strategy and monitor it throughout the entire project. In doing so, you manage one or more Hardware Engineers and ensure smooth cooperation with other disciplines, such as software, mechanics, and project management.
• You organize and lead design meetings with both internal and external stakeholders and translate project requirements into clear technical concepts and a robust architecture.
• Thanks to your overview and expertise, you always keep the global objectives in mind and proactively report on progress to the Project Manager.
