Electrical Engineering Work Preparer

• An MBO 4 diploma in Electrical Engineering;

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position;

• Affinity with equipment and construction site setup;

• An efficient, proactive, and collaborative working attitude;

• Strong communication skills and decisiveness;

• The ability to read technical drawings and translate them into a practical approach.

• Salary from € 2,950-- to € 4,800 gross per 4 weeks (€ 3,200 - € 5,200, - gross per month) based on full-time employment;

Working as a work preparer Electrical Engineering at Ballast Nedam Materieel in Almere, you will apply your technical knowledge and experience to take our projects to a higher level. You advise on the right electrotechnical solutions, design installations, work out drawings, and prepare quotes for various construction site setups. Because no project is the same, you will get all the space to use your creativity and contribute innovative ideas.

The energy world is changing rapidly. As a result, you will deal with issues surrounding solar panel installations, battery packs, heat pumps, camera systems, and other sustainable technologies. Your expertise and innovative perspective are of great value in this.

You will work both independently and in a close-knit team of Work Preparers, Project Coordinators, Electrical Fitters, and colleagues from Rental and the Electrical Workshop. Additionally, you will have a lot of contact with internal customers, subcontractors, and other partners. Together, you ensure the optimal preparation and execution of our projects.

From the tender phase to the final delivery, you are involved in our diverse projects, ranging from small to very large-scale. Currently, a challenging project has started in the middle of the country, where much is required of our—and therefore also your—knowledge and craftsmanship.
