Work Preparer in Groningen

As a Work Preparer at Omexom, you will work in a permanent project team. Your location is the project in Musselkanaal. There, you will see what is happening on-site and communicate directly with supervisors, technicians, and subcontractors. You can join us as an employee, or also work as a freelancer.

The work preparation team is moving increasingly towards the free domain: projects for industrial customers, energy parks, battery storage, and large consumers who have their own connection or installation realized. These customers demand speed, flexibility, and proactive thinking, and you play a key role in that.

• You translate the design into an executable plan: work packages, planning, materials, and people.
• You manage procurement, orders, and coordination with suppliers and subcontractors.
• You ensure permits, Health & Safety documents, work instructions, and LMRA's are in order.
• You monitor progress, budget, and additional work together with the project manager.
• You ensure that the revision and the delivery of the dossier are in order.
• MBO level 4 or HBO in an (electro)technical field
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Work Preparer in an electrotechnical or energy environment
• Knowledge of medium and/or high voltage; experience with private clients is a plus
• VCA-VOL and knowledge of NEN 3140 (NEN 3840 is a plus)
• You work precisely, maintain an overview, and are a strong interlocutor on the construction site
• Driving license B; if working as a freelancer, registered with the KvK
