Senior Work Preparer

As a Senior Work Preparer at Ballast Nedam West in Capelle aan den IJssel, you will get energy from playing an important role in the realization of our impressive new construction projects of approx. € 30 to € 90 million. You are responsible for the careful preparation of high-quality construction projects in the work preparation and execution phase. Together with the project manager, you perform a sharp project analysis, ensuring the timely delivery of equipment, goods, and services and providing optimal support for execution.

With your technical knowledge, organizational skills, and drive, you ensure that our beautiful construction projects run smoothly through the work preparation and execution phases! You do not do this alone, but together with an enthusiastic, close-knit, and committed team where everyone enjoys working together and where your colleagues are there for you. Your team consists of, among others, fellow work preparers, site managers, a purchaser, a controller, a residential coach, and the project manager.

Hard work is done, but there is also plenty of room for conviviality, humor, and fun initiatives. For example, we regularly organize activities to offer relaxation alongside work. Additionally, we have our monthly WEST update during a delicious lunch in which colleagues share what they are working on. And our activities committee regularly ensures that pleasant outings are on the agenda.

• A completed HBO (Civil Engineering) degree or working and thinking level, supplemented by experience in a similar position;

• You are a team player who seeks opportunities to achieve the best result together. In doing so, you have knowledge of working methods and dare to propose alternatives;

• Leadership and ownership, and you think it is super cool to work on new construction projects of > € 30 million! Minimum 32 hours per week to work. Available full-time is also fine!
