• Demonstrable experience as a calculator and good knowledge of your field of expertise;

• You master the Dutch language at a minimum of B2 level, both orally and in writing.

As a Calculator E&I in our Rotterdam office, you will prepare cost estimates for projects involving electrical, instrumentation, and/or HVAC components. These projects are often multidisciplinary, but sometimes also monodisciplinary. You ensure that estimates are technically correct, in line with market standards, and align with the appropriate working methods.

You process quantities, material and equipment prices, man-hours, and subcontractors into accurate cost calculations. You keep the documentation file up to date with rates, post-calculations, and experience data to continuously improve estimates. Additionally, you follow developments within the field and work according to the quality manual, so that your work contributes to achieving the desired quality standards.
