(Senior) Manager International VAT Advisory in Utrecht

As (Senior) Manager International VAT Advisory, you are an important sparring partner for internationally operating clients with complex VAT issues. You advise on cross-border transactions, international structures, and strategic VAT issues, working intensively with specialists within the international Baker Tilly network.

But your role goes beyond substantive advising. You actively contribute to the further growth and positioning of our international VAT practice. You identify commercial opportunities, develop client relationships, bring in new assignments, and help build a strong international network. Additionally, Tax technology, including AI applications, is an important spearhead in the further development of our practice. We expect you to be curious about how we can utilize this in VAT practice and that you think along about smart improvements and optimizations. That is precisely why you get plenty of room to exert influence on the direction of the practice and the development of new initiatives as well as propositions.

• You have completed a university degree (WO) in Tax Law or Fiscal Economics. An emphasis on Indirect Taxation is a plus.

• You have completed the NOB or RB training.

• You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience in indirect tax practice.

You will work in a close-knit and ambitious VAT team of approximately 20 colleagues, nationally and internationally. The team is entrepreneurial, growing rapidly, and actively focuses on the expansion of our practice. Every Monday, we are at the Utrecht office for collaboration, knowledge sharing, technical consultation, and a shared lunch. Additionally, we also regularly organize fun team activities.
