Behind a successful guest experience stand reliable locations, well-maintained installations, and smart investments.

As Manager Asset Management, you are responsible for the full lifecycle of our technical assets, from procurement and maintenance to replacement and disposal. You develop the asset strategy and translate this into multi-year maintenance and investment plans, with safety, sustainability, compliance, continuity, and cost control at the center. You report to the Facility Director and work closely with, among others, the Manager Technical Services and the Manager Procurement & Contracts. Your work location is Schiphol.

What you'll do

As Manager Asset Management, you provide direction to the long-term strategy for our technical assets. You ensure that assets perform optimally throughout their entire lifecycle and translate technical insights into concrete maintenance and investment plans.

You are responsible for:

  • Developing the technical asset policy and the long-term strategy for preventive and corrective maintenance at all locations, and translating this into an actionable maintenance plan.
  • Maintaining a strategic overview of the technical condition of all managed assets and determining follow-up actions based on inspections and incident reports from the Manager Technical Services.
  • Determining the nature and scope of required work, translating this into the long-term maintenance and investment plan, and submitting proposals for improvements, investments, and replacements.
  • Taking ownership of the full asset lifecycle, from procurement to disposal, including ensuring the timely availability of parts, materials, and technical resources required to execute the maintenance plan, with specific attention to Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

  • Supporting and advising on compliance with food safety, including HACCP, quality management, and pest control.
  • Supporting and advising on the setup and execution of construction, renovation, and concept development projects, in coordination with the Operational Project Manager, Design & Construction, and the Concepts department.

You combine technical expertise with strategic insight and ensure that Asset Management makes a visible contribution to the organization's objectives.

You are responsible for:

  • Advising on the selection and procurement of equipment and materials based on operational and technical experience.
  • Contributing to the OGSM plan of the Facility Management department.
