What does this role look like?
At Rivoir, you work on the long-term performance and value development of infrastructure assets from the perspective of the asset owner.
As a Strategic Asset Manager, you are responsible for developing, implementing, and managing an integrated asset management approach. You work on complex infrastructure assets, such as tunnels, highways, public buildings, and energy infrastructure, within long-term contracts and concessions.
In doing so, you look beyond the technical performance of an individual project. You connect maintenance strategies, contractual agreements, financial structures, and operational performance, translating these into guiding choices for the long term.
You formulate asset management strategies, establish objectives and KPIs, and translate these into management, maintenance, and investment plans. In this role, you manage availability, reliability, risks, lifecycle costs, and sustainable value development.
You are an important interlocutor for project directorates, investors, shareholders, maintenance parties, and other stakeholders. You bring different interests together, create support, and ensure that strategic choices are translated into concrete results.
Where a Technical Manager focuses primarily on technical content and execution, you are responsible for the integrated assessment and strategic direction. You determine where optimizations are needed, which choices belong to them, and what the impact of those choices is on the performance, risks, and value of an asset.
About you
You are an experienced asset management professional who can oversee complex issues in an integrated manner. You combine strategic and conceptual thinking with a practical approach and know how to translate vision into concrete plans and results.
You understand the connection between technical performance, contractual agreements, financial interests, and risks. From this broad perspective, you are able to make clear choices and provide direction to projects, teams, and stakeholders.
You communicate persuasively, move easily between different levels, and know how to create support among project directorates, investors, maintenance parties, and colleagues. You take ownership, demonstrate leadership, and gain energy from developing people, organizations, and new ways of working.
In addition, you possess:
A high level of work and thinking, preferably with a technical, business administration, or economic background.
